About Us

Mathomo is a Sepedi word meaning “Initial”. The name Mathomo Development Occupational
Therapy name simpiy indicates the initiai development of Occupational therapy and inclusive medical evaluation services in Mopani district.

Mathomo was formed after the informs! feasibility study was conducted and through this informal study it was discovered that the availability of Comprehensive services of Occupational
Therapy and functional medical evaluation amongst black communities are lacking. As a result of this lack, clients or patients needed to travel far distances to access the services.

Mathomo Deveiopment Occupational Therapy was then founded on 18th July 2014 by
Mrs.Lesimoie Jacobinah Tigeli (Uwabunkeonye).

The company is currently situated in Pretoria North

Director

Lesimole Jacobinah Tigeli currently works as an Occupational therapist in the private practice, while concurrently ensuring the smooth running of Mathomo Development Occupational Therapy Services. She also serves as a Medical Assessor in the Pane? for Compensation Fund (COlDA claims) at Department of Labour.
Mrs; Uwabunkeohye has enormous experience in providing the holistic approaches of occupational therapy services to both Pubiic and Private sector. She has worked with different stakeholders, N605 and other community initiated projects She has a great passion for Occupational therapy services and never ceases to stop educating her ciients, patients and community at large about the necessities and imperatives of balanced and quality of iife.
